In short, YES you can change your artist name on all streaming platforms BESIDES Apple Music / iTunes.
Changing your artist name on streaming platforms can be a complicated process, and it may take some time for the change to be reflected across all platforms!
Things to note
If you decide to change your artist name there's a few things to bare in mind:
Monthly Listeners - When you request a name change, most streaming platforms will create a new artist page rather than updating your existing one. For services that follow this practice, we cannot ask them to modify your current page. Consequently, your monthly listeners and followers typically won't carry over to the new page and will have to be rebuilt again from scratch.
Incorrect Mapping - KYCKER cannot control how streaming services map your releases. Even if we give them the correct information, your release can get lost along the way. If you change your artist name and a new page is created, non-unique names may result in your releases being linked to an existing artist page.
It Takes Time - Submitting a rebrand request is automated, but updating metadata often requires manual processing. As a result, it may take up to a few weeks for all stores to reflect your new artist name. Please keep this in mind when planning your rebrand.
