As your presence on YouTube grows, you may become eligible for an Official Artist Channel (OAC). This special channel merges subscribers from your topic channel, VEVO channel (if applicable), and your main artist channel into one central hub.
OACs make it easier for your fans to find all your music content in one place, helping you keep your audience connected and organized.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for an Official Artist Channel, you must:
Own and operate a YouTube channel dedicated to a single artist or band.
Have at least one official music release on YouTube that has been delivered through a music distributor or label.
- Have a topic channel associated with your artists name
Ensure your channel complies with all YouTube policies, including the Community Guidelines, Terms of Service, and Copyright rules.
If you meet all the above criteria you can drop us a message on Zendesk where we will start the process to create your OAC!

For most upcoming artists who are self releasing, they may not have the required 1000 followers to work with a YouTube Partner Manager or be part of the YPP.
As such, they will rely on distributors being a music partner listed on the Music Services Partners list.
However, I can see that Kycker is currently not on this list.
As this is is an important feature already offered by many competitor distributors, is this a planned upcoming feature for Kycker? Or is this actioned on a bespoke, case by case, basis?
Hi Lee
Thanks for your comment!
We have updated our article so that it reflects more accurately.
In this case you don't need to have 1000 followers, you just need to meet the criteria mentioned in the article and we can create an OAC for you!
If you have any further question feel free to raise a ticket in Zendesk and a member of our team will be in touch with you shortly
Many Thanks
The KYCKER Team
Fantastic!
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly on this. I completely understand that 1000 followers is not necessary.
I’ll raise a ticket via Zendesk to look into creating an OAC.
