– Go to the My Music tab on the left-hand side of your dashboard.

You’ll be taken to the release setup page.

Select Create, then complete the required release fields, including:
– Genre
– Release date
– C line and P line
– Artwork (ensure it meets out artwork guidelines)
Once these sections are complete, scroll to the bottom of the release page to find the Tracks section.
Select Upload new track and add:
– Track title

You’ll also be asked:
– Is this track a cover?
– Does this track have vocals?
– Do you want to use your own ISRC code?
Tick the options that apply to your release.
Step 3: Add your metadata
Top tip: this section is much faster if you complete your Team Members area in your dashboard beforehand. You can also select Copy contributors from another track to save time on future uploads.
Upload your audio
Upload your WAV file and ensure it meets our audio guidelines.
You’ll also set your clip time. This is a 30-second section of your track that can be used on platforms such as TikTok and Instagram.
Add contributors
In the Contributors tab, add:
– Composers and songwriters
– Producers
– Track performers and specify the instruments they played
Primary and Featured Artists
If your track has additional primary artists or featured artists, tick the relevant box. You’ll be prompted to search for their name on Spotify.
If they do not yet have a Spotify profile, please contact our support team via the helpdesk. We’ll assist with creating the necessary artist profile before delivery.
Complete the metadata tab
In the Metadata tab, make sure to add:
– PPL genre
– Date of recording
Step 4: Submit for approval
Once everything is complete and reviewed:
– Select Submit for approval in the top right corner of your screen.
Your release will be reviewed by our team before being delivered to streaming platforms. This screening process helps avoid delays and protects your music from common errors.
If your release is approved, you’ll be notified. If anything needs adjusting, it will be rejected and we’ll explain exactly what to fix so you can resubmit quickly.
