Claiming your account before you release music means you can get your profile ready for release day (profile picture, header image, Spotify bio etc.), but it also means you can pitch your music to Spotify's editorial playlist system before the song is released.
We recommend to claim your account on a desktop, and follow these steps:
1.) Copy and paste the following link to your browser - artists.spotify.com/c/access
2.) Click "Get Access" in the top right of the page
3.) You will be asked for your account URI code, which will have been sent to you via email once we have retrieved it.
4.) You will need to input the release (product) UPC which can be found on the your Kycker account (My Releases)
5.) For faster verification, sign into your social media accounts. The more information you provide, the easier it will be to verify your relationship to the artist
It sometimes takes Spotify some time to allow you to claim the account, so it is worth doing this with plenty of time before your first release.
