How do I report a bot (fake) playlist?

If you ever find that your music is on a bot playlist it is important that you report this straight away. Even though from the surface it looks that your song is getting loads of streams, these fake plays can affect your streams and algorithm, royalties payments and even lead to Spotify manually taking down your music and blacklisting you due to illicit streaming.

To report a bot playlist head to your Spotify For Artists account
1. Go to Spotify for Artists
2. Click the ? in the top right
3. Scroll down and click ‘Contact Us’
4. Start a chat and say you want to report a playlist
5. Send them the playlist link, song link, etc.

Alternatively, To report a bot playlist on Spotify, you can report a playlist on the Spotify desktop app by:
1. Right-clicking the playlist title or artist name
2. Selecting Report
3. Completing the form and submitting it
